Cara Delevingne, i.e. one of the hottest, current British models, and Mulberry, i.e. one of the biggest British brands, have joined forces for a flawless autumn/winter 2013 ad campaign; and we love the results!
Cara was shot on location at Shotover House in Oxfordshire by Tim Walker, and the ads were directed by Ronnie Cooke Newhouse.
“The Autumn Winter 2013 collection was inspired by the English countryside and cosy, familiar rural scenes but with a dark, mysterious and seductive veil,” said creative director Emma Hill.
“Traditional fables, botanical prints and the earthiness of the countryside by night all played their part, and this sense of dark beauty was beautifully captured by Tim and Ronnie for the campaign. After closing our London Fashion Week show, Cara was the first name in my mind for this season, she’s beautiful, bold and British!”
Bag enthusiasts will be pleased to know that there’s a large selection of Mulberry arm cady in the ads, including the popular Willow, the new Primrose, and the iconic Bayswater in the autumnal shades of Oxblood, Taupe, Navy and Emerald. And we think the owls (courtesy of Andy Howers Birds of Prey) should get a mention too. Why not?
A stunning ultimate British ad campaign that captures the autumn/winter season perfectly! Check out the full campaign here.
