Gosh it really has been a good month for Christopher Bailey hasn’t it?

A few weeks ago he was given a huge promotion and became the new Burberry Chief Executive Officer after Angela Ahrendts left the brand to go to Apple, and now he’s just been awarded the Hall of Fame gong at the annual WGSN Global Fashion Awards which were held at the Victoria and Albert Museum. Congratulations to a very well-deserving man!

Previous winners of the prestigious accolade include legendary photographer Rankin and Biba founder Barbara Hulanicki, so we know he’s in good company.

Other designers who won big on the night include Nicholas Kirkwood who picked up the award for Footwear and Accessories Designer, while Topshop won the Best Multi-Channel Retailer Award. No arguments there!
