As we learnt last week while watching the latest Chanel Couture show, heels are pretty much a thing of the past as it’s all about flats, baby!

Alexa Chung is one lady who didn’t need Karl Lagerfeld to convince her to step out in flats, as she’s been rocking the heel-less trend for years, which is probably why she does it so well. One of her latest looks is a perfect example of this, hence why we are more than happy to admit to stealing her style.

It isn’t the cheapest of outfits this week, but both Carven dress and Charlotte Olympia flats can be classed as “investment pieces” that can be worn season after season. Winner!
