Though we hate to admit, there’s no doubt that sports is male dominated and therefore most sports watches are made for men. However, there are some luxury watch brands that cater for both men and women and here are three that, for me, would easily win medals:
Longines Conquest
This watch is actually unisex yet its 29.50mm case is great for women with small wrists or for those who don’t like big watches. It is made by Longines, a world renowned luxury watch company dedicated to the world of sports having been the official timekeeper of the Olympics, American Football, Basketball, Equestrian sports, Tennis and more.
Made of stainless steel and scratch resistant sapphire crystal with a matte white dial, it has the ability to go with any outfit and be great for light sports. It is also water resistant to 30 bars/300 metres so can be used when swimming.
TAG Heuer Formula 1
TAG Heuer are a big name in the luxury watch world and are popular in regards to Formula One and racing in general. Their Formula One collection is dedicated to this collaboration and features brilliant timepieces for both men and women. The women’s watches are sporty with feminine features such as diamonds and elegance, with pieces that are pure white, have silver highlights and matte black dials.
This particular model has a gorgeous Wesselton diamond encrusted bezel totalling to 0.75 carats with a black dial and a steel and ceramic bracelet. Not only does this watch look stunning, it is water resistant to 200 metres!
Breitling Galactic
Breitling have ‘Diamondwork’ versions of their Galactic collection which is exciting for the ladies who like to sparkle. The Galactic collection focuses more on appearance than the other Breitling collections and this watch is a great example of them doing so because… well, just look at it! It has diamonds in the bezel and as hour markers, a mother-of-pearl dial and a polished stainless steel case and bracelet. It also has a sub-dial showing 60 seconds which can easily be used to help time laps.
