Why that would be Best Actress winner Cate Blanchett, whose overall outfit cost an eye-watering $18.1 Million. Cate’s stunning Armani Privé gown was worth $100,000, with her Chopard 62 opal earrings, diamond bracelet ring reportedly being worth $18 Million. And she doesn’t even look phased by it – we would be pretty nervous wearing that much borrowed jewellery!
Charlize Theron, who topped many a best dressed list thanks to her Dior dress and Harry Winston jewels, came a close second with her look coming to a total of $15.9 Million, while Sandra Bullock’s Oscars look was the third most expensive, as her Alexander McQueen dress and Lorraine Schwartz jewellery came to an estimated $8.24 Million.
