Offering a very welcome alternative to the little black dress is a black jumpsuit – a piece that Jennifer Garner looked absolutely stunning in as she attended the Draft Day premiere in Los Angeles last night.

The actress rocked a black Max Mara jumpsuit at the premiere, and teamed it with a waist-cinching black belt and minimal accessories.

We’re not sure what shoes Jen was wearing on this occasion due to the flared bottom of the jumpsuit, but we think it was absolutely the right decision to keep her shoes hidden. It’s a bit risky going for this option (Cheryl Cole at her infamous X Factor USA auditions proved that it can go very wrong!) but we think Jennifer nailed it.
