We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: we love credit cards! But one thing we don’t love is the annual fee that comes with the privilege of getting one. Therefore, we were utterly over the moon to discover that the American Express Everyday Card doesn’t have that. We repeat, the American Express Everyday Card has no annual fee.
That’s not the only thing we adore about the American Express Everyday Card, as the rewards you can get with aforementioned card are pretty impressive too. Users can earn points each and every single time they use the card, with over 500 brands (mostly clothing and home ware brands – result!) taking part.
And if you’re planning a trip to the States any time soon then you’re in luck, as double points can be earned at US supermarkets. This just keeps getting better! And the final cherry on top (yes, there’s more!) is that you can earn an extra 20% if you use your card more than 20 times each month. So all you have to do is pay for your daily morning latte and lunch with the card and you’ll reap that 20% benefit without a problem!
So, to celebrate this fantastic card and all the great things it has to offer, American Express has enlisted the help of actress, author, and parenting mogul Soleil Moon Frye (she will always be “the girl who hits Joey” to us, though) to tell us a very descriptive and emotional story about what she went through when she bought her first minivan. Her #EveryDayMoments, if you will. (You see what they did there? Clever cookies, those American Express folk!) The campaign is pretty neat as it brings home the fact that the card can be used each and every day – and as a result, you will be rewarded and reap the benefits. In fact, we actually forgot we were watching an ad campaign video until we got to the very end as we were hooked by Soleil’s gripping tale.
You’ll need to watch the video for yourselves to see what we mean. And if you’re interested in the rewards that American Express has to offer, then make sure you follow them on Twitter and like them on Facebook to find out more and ensure you’re first in the loop.
