There’s no shortage of cool spots in London for a great burger, especially with the rise in popularity of this long loved member of the fast food world. But if you’re craving a ‘posh’ burger, then The Hyde Bar is a must try for an exceptional fine dining experience.

Located in The Park Tower Knightsbridge Hotel, the intimate setting of The Hyde Bar with its live music and private members club vibe, makes it an ideal option  for a romantic date night.

Specialising in handcrafted burgers created by talented Executive Chef Pascal Proyart, the menu ranges from the succulent ‘Périgourdine’ made with Angus beef, duck foie gras and Armagnac mayo in a potato black truffle bun, to ‘The Red and Black Surf & Turf’ – a tasty combination of Tiger prawn, chicken, cuttlefish ink tapioca and aioli.

Each burger is complemented with a recommended premium whisky intended to delight the taste buds, however if you’re not a whisky fan then I highly suggest a cocktail instead, in particular the Bourbon sidecar.

While all the burgers not only look incredible but are absolutely delicious, ‘The Luxury Collection’ burger, a fusion of Wagyu beef, Vermont white cheddar and heritage tomato in a refined gold leaf bun is fantastic especially when washed down with the Suntory Yamazaky 12 year old single malt whisky.

And for dessert? Well, it’s a battle between a decadent chocolate cake and an indulgent strawberry cheesecake, in which the yummy cheesecake wins hands down.

I thoroughly enjoyed The Hyde Bar. Not only is the service impeccable, but if you’re lucky enough to pop down while the lovely manager Santos is around, you’ll be guaranteed a great evening out.
