Although many of us believed the rumours Kate Middleton had designed her wedding dress with designer Sophie Cranston of Libelula to be true, we’re sorry to say this high-gossiping nuptial tale is just another to fall flat on its royal face.

With a very firm and direct statement – released from Libelula headquarters early this morning – the designer made it very clear they had no involvement in Kate’s wedding dress what-so-ever, reports Vogue UK.

“Libelula has a company policy of not commenting on any of the work they do for private clients, however due to the unprecedented media attention they would like to make the following statement: We are not designing Kate Middleton’s wedding dress. We, like everyone else, can’t wait to find out who is,” read the statement.

So there you have it once again – another designer denying rumours.

We reckon we should all stop guessing and actually wait till the big day, don’t you?
