First look: Kate Middleton’s McQueen wedding dress:

The moment the whole world was waiting for was finally revealed on Friday this week: Kate Middleton’s wedding dress was indeed designed by the creative director of Alexander McQueen, Sarah Burton. Speculation had been arising for quite some time, reaching a peak on Thursday night when Burton was seen entering the Goreing Hotel, where Kate and her wedding party were staying. Apart from the frenzy surrounding whom Kate Middleton had appointed as her honourable dress designer, guests at the Royal wedding have been enjoying some much deserved limelight. Unknown French designer, Oliver Rousteing, to head up Balmain:

Predominantly unknown designer Oliver Rousteing has been announced as creative director at Balmain. Rousteing spent five years at Roberto Cavalli before taking charge of the womenswear studio at Balmain in 2009, where he’ll now replace Christophe Decarnin as creative director. Read more here!
