Karl Lagerfeld has today revealed that his latest visual project – a 30-minute film to be shown along with his Chanel cruise collection in Cap d’Antibes Monday night, and it may raise some viewer’s eyebrows.

“Some people may be shocked,” Lagerfeld said.

The film is entitled The Tale of a Fairy, and features model Freja Beha Erichsen emerging on the seafront in nothing more than a pair of white cotton pants as she portrays the intended fairy. But that’s not all, the film also sees co-stars Kristen McMenamy, Lady Amanda Harlech, Lagerfeld favourite Baptiste Giabiconi and Anna Mouglalis, who can also be seen kissing the beautiful Freja, reports Vogue UK.

“It is a movie about an ill-advised use of money which begins with violence and ends with feeling,” explains Lagerfeld.

So not your average soppy romance then Karl, eh?
