Shocking news broke this week of Gap’s creative director, Patrick Robison, receiving the doomed fire. After working with the brand for four years, the decision to sack Robinson arose from the need for “a fresh approach to continue the work to improve Gap’s fashion relevance”, according to Pam Wallack, head of the Gap Global Creative Centre in New York. John Galliano sacks lawyer:

Instead, it has been confirmed that Galliano sacked lawyer Stephane Zerbib – just weeks before his trial – amidst apparent irregularities in respect of his firm’s administration of Galliano’s financial affairs.
