While I like leopard print in small measures, on grander scales I have a real aversion to the print. This may be a D&G dress, but all I can think is Bet Lynch, though I guess the success of this dress really depends the context you wear it in.
If you’re an Italian socialite strutting around the Isle of Capri in Dolce, this dress would probably get full marks. Alternatively, if you were to wear this on a night out in Yorkshire, it’d probably waver on the wrong side of bad taste. Unfair, perhaps, but true nonetheless.
The Ocelot bustier dress might be signature D&G, but its risqué low-cut design and uber-tightness make it tricky to pull off. And though the exposed gold zip back fastening and black bra insert are glamorous, they’re only for the brave.
I’m sure this D&G number might be loved by some women, but it’s just not my cup of tea. It’s a leopard print overload, and on this occasion, I’ll have to give it a miss.
