Many previous biography’s have tried to delve into the mysterious life of iconic fashion designer Coco Chanel, but the latest literary testament is said to have unearthed some pretty astonishing new details about the lady herself.

The release of Coco Chanel: An Intimate Life – which is out November 10th this year – has been written by biographer Lisa Chaney, who claims to have concrete evidence that Chanel used drugs, embraced bisexuality, and had an affair with Salvador Dali while he was married.

Lisa also received an email from her publicist stating she had accessed documents in the Swiss Federal Archives that prove Chanel’s German lover Hans Gunther von Dincklage spied for the Nazis throughout World War II, but whether she was aware of this is unkown, reports Fashionologie.

This is one book we have to get our hands on….
