Fans of Kate Middleton will be pleased to hear Her Royal Highness hasn’t given up on the high street just yet, and in her latest dash, she clocked up a bill for £110.

Not bad for three items. Popping into her local Topshop branch on Kensington High Street in London on Monday, Kate picked up a teal polka dot skirt for £38 (now sold out, naturally), a bright blue boucle jacket with a black velvet trim for £65, and a pair of gold leaf-effect earrings, similar to these for a little under £10.

And, ever the peoples’ princess, she queued up to pay for them.

“She was low-key and casual – she seemed so normal,” the Topshop staffer who served her told People magazine. “She was really chilled out despite some customers in the queue behind her saying, ‘Oh my God it’s her’ and pointing – she didn’t seem fazed by it all and she was really sweet.”

Since both the skirt and earrings Kate bought are no longer available, here’s to the jacket selling out by the end of today, too.
