29-year-old Doctor Who actor Matt Smith and 22-year-old British model Daisy Lowe have reportedly called time on their 18-month romance. Apparently Matt chose to end their relationship because he was uneasy about talking about tying the knot with his model girlfriend.
“Whenever engagement and marriage was mentioned he was uncomfortable,” a friend reportedly told The Sun newspaper. “He’s still a young man and the thought of being tied down was a lot to digest.
“This has come as a surprise to everyone. It was thought they’d be together for a really long time because they were so into each other. It’s really sad that this has happened, but as they’re both so in demand at the moment it was really difficult for them to find time together.”
