We know we raved about her bright Oscars outfit and applauded her for going for a splash of colour because the paler shades were getting somewhat predictable, but we think we may have to take that back. 

We’re eating a big old slice of humble pie, as Michelle Williams has never looked more elegant and heavenly than she did at the My Week with Marilyn Tokyo premiere yesterday.

The actress looked phenomenal in an oyster, draped floor-length Alexander McQueen gown from the spring/summer 2012 collection, which showcased and accentuated each and every curve perfectly. Yes, we know she’s been doing the pale thing for months now, as well as the majority of awards season, but if it ain’t broke…

Plus, it’s slightly reminiscent of one of Marilyn’s most famous dresses – you know the one we mean! Looks like the two ladies are even more similar than we thought!
