Go on, admit it, you’ve loved the Cannes Film Festival this year, haven’t you?
We’ve really enjoyed monitoring (and more importantly, judging, scrutinising and applauding) the stars’ wardrobe choices over the past couple of weeks and are kind of upset it’s all come to an end.
Still, the red carpet saw a lot of action over the weekend, so we still have plenty of looks to get through. Diane Kruger cracked out the couture as she waltzed down the closing ceremony red carpet in a stunning Christian Dior number from the spring 2012 collection. Admittedly it wasn’t what we expected – we were thinking something glitzy, perhaps with a flowing train – but her look will still be memorable for all the right reasons.
Another instant style hit for us was Camila Alves in her Marchesa gown. We think Camila is Cannes personified and could very well give Eva Longoria (who rocked a similar dress on day 1) a run for her money.
Reese Witherspoon dressed her growing baby bump in an Atelier Versace dress which went down a storm with us, as did Kristen Stewart’s Reem Acra dress – she was definitely no wallflower!
