Yep, Dolce and Gabbana is going Couture! Cue screams of excitement!
Just because Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana haven’t got their D&G diffusion line to worry about anymore (sniff!) it doesn’t mean that they’ve been sitting around twiddling their thumbs.
On the contrary they’ve been very busy boys indeed – first introducing a brand new childrenswear line, and now branching out into the wonderful world of Couture!
The Dolce and Gabbana brand will be showing its debut Couture collection on July 9th, but rather surprisingly, the show’s going to be held in Taormina, Sicily, as opposed to Paris – the official home of Haute Couture Fashion Week.
And it’s also going to be quite a small affair, with only a select group of clients and “three media outlets” being invited to witness the action. We can’t wait to see what’s in store!
