Sometimes we actually can’t believe what we read and as a result, have no option but to write about. And this is one of those instances. Australian celebrity gossip magazine Famous has not only fat shamed model-of-the-moment Kendall Jenner (yes, she is the teeny tiny waist and flawless legs that appear to go on for weeks) but has also taken it one step further by seemingly Photoshopping cellulite on her perfect pins. You don’t have to be sitting front row or have binoculars to see that Kendall appeared to be cellulite free on the numerous catwalks she graced during Fashion Month so far. Luckily for Kendall, it doesn’t look like her friends, fans, and family believe the story for a second… “I just saw a magazine cover of Kendall Jenner where is (as usual) looks thin and beautiful and FAMOUS decided to photoshop some… cottage cheese on the back of her thigh,” Kendall’s good friend Ireland Baldwin wrote on Twitter. “uh. let me tell you. that girl has flawless legs. I’ve seen them in person plenty of times [sic].” The magazine is yet to respond – and Kendall has so far kept a dignified silence – but we think Ireland Baldwin has put it in its place. When will the fat shaming and needless Photoshopping to boost sales end?! [Telegraph]

Victoria’s Secret loves to surprise us – why else would it be bringing the annual Victoria’s Secret Show to London for the first time ever this year? So, with that in mind, we’re not at all shocked to learn that we might be surprised with a new model on the VS catwalk later this year… and that model could be none other than Kendall Jenner. As always, Victoria’s Secret doesn’t confirm which models will walk in the most highly anticipated show of the year until the show itself, so we will have to sit back and wait patiently until December to see if Kim Kardashian’s little sis is present. Although, with legs that go on for days and a string of magazine covers and ad campaigns under her belt – plus the fact that she shared the catwalk with VS regulars Candice Swanepoel and Karlie Kloss – we think the odds are pretty good. Would you like to see Kendall walk in the Victoria’s Secret Show later this year? [MTV]

Read MoreKendall Jenner drops her last name
We told you just a few weeks ago that Kendall Jenner – daughter of Kris and Bruce Jenner and half-sister to Kourtney, Khloe and Kim Kardashian – thought her famous family hindered her modelling career. Well, instead of just banning sister Kim and the rest of the Kardashian/Jenner clan from her catwalk shows, she has now gone one step further to disassociate herself from them… and that’s by dropping her last name altogether. Yep, Kendall will now join the likes of the one-named-wonders like Beyonce, Cher and Rihanna, and be known as just “Kendall”. Interesting, no? Do you think this new name will catch on? We wonder what Kardashian/Jenner matriarch Kris Jenner had to say about this… no doubt we’ll see or hear some sort of reference to it on a new episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians soon. [Harper’s Bazaar]

Kendall Jenner wants the modelling world to take her seriously, so we aren’t the least bit surprised to see her treating everything as her catwalk – even the airport! While most of us slip into a comfortable pair of joggers and put on a dark pair of sunglasses to disguise tired eyes, Miss Jenner used this failsafe outfit combo as an opportunity to show the world that she can nail off duty airport style like a true modelling pro. (How many times have we seen the likes of Miranda Kerr and Rosie Huntington Whiteley, for example, look incredible after long haul flights?!) The best part of this look is that, apart from the footwear, it’s all pretty affordable as both jumper and joggers come from our high street fave – Topshop! Here’s everything you’ll need to get Kendall’s airport look: Space dye jumper, £36, available at Topshop Rib side stripe joggers, £40, available at Topshop Metal cap toe slip on sneakers, $490, Miu Miu available at Barneys
Read MoreWhy being a Kardashian isn’t good for your career – by Kendall Jenner
The Kardashian family have a lot of friends in high places and can no doubt pull a few strings here and there to get a friend or family member into that supper exclusive club, make them top of the Birkin waiting list or go backstage at that sold out concert. But one thing being a Kardashian isn’t good for, apparently, is getting you onto the catwalk. Kendall Jenner, who is making a name for herself in the modelling industry thanks to her never-ending legs and stunning good looks, has said that being part of one of America’s most famous families has been a bit of a hindrance as no one wanted to take her seriously as a model. “People think that this success just came to me. But it didn’t,” Kendall said. “What I have has almost worked against me. I had to work even harder to get where I wanted because people didn’t take me seriously as a model because of the TV show. “I went on castings and some people weren’t feeling me because of my name. But it was great when people didn’t recognise me. I was like, ‘Thank you. Please don’t recognise me.’” And to make sure that no one recognised her after getting the modelling gig, Kendall ensured that Kim Kardashian and the rest of her famous sisters stayed at home and out of the front rows… “Kim was invited to a lot of the shows that I was in,” she continued. “She called me before and was like, ‘Hey, I was invited to the show, I just wanted to let you know. Do you want me to come?’ and I was like, ‘No.’” Well, there you have it. We think Kendall’s done pretty well for herself this past year alone (she’s walked in numerous […]
Read MoreIs Kendall Jenner the new face of Givenchy?
Is Kim Kardashian’s little sister the brand new face of Givenchy? Well, the Instagram picture above makes us believe that the answer is a big fat yes! Kendall Jenner will appear in the Givenchy autumn/winter 2014 ad campaign alongside six other models – hopefully one which we will be able to get our hands on pretty soon What do you think of the teaser image? Although Kendall may have used her family name and Kimye’s contacts to give her a push in the right direction (Riccardo Tisci famously designed Kim and Kanye’s wedding outfits, just in case it slipped your mind for a second) she has actually earned the respect of a lot of big fashion names. Including LOVE editor Katie Grand… “She’s unique in wanting to turn her back on her celebrity when it comes to modelling, she’s with a smaller very respected agency called Society who work specifically with high end designers, photographers and stylists,” LOVE editor Katie Grand said. “It would have been easy for Kendall to go with a bigger agency and gone down a celebrity route but she wants to be taken seriously as a model just like the rest of them.” High praise, indeed. Perhaps the thing we love most about the ad is the fact that Kendall is joined by other models and still manages to stand out and pull focus for all the right reasons. We doubt this will be the last ad campaign we see her in! [E! Online]
Read MoreLove or hate Kendall Jenner’s risqué Fausto Puglisi dress
We’re going to start the week with a bit of a controversial celeb style feature, thanks to Kendall Jenner and a very risqué Fausto Puglisi dress. Kim Kardashian’s little half-sister attended the MuchMusic Video Awards in Toronto, Canada last night and decided to wear a very attention-grabbing double-slit dress from the Fausto Puglisi autumn/winter 2013 collection for her red carpet arrival. But whether it was the right attention is a different matter altogether… Some might argue that the dress, which featured waist-high slits on both sides and make Angelina Jolie’s Atelier Versace Oscars 2012 dress look tame in comparison, was a little too much for the 18-year-old. Others however, might see it as a bold and brave fashion statement from a successful model. Which camp are you in? We definitely think she rocked the dress just as well as the model from the designer’s lookbook thanks to her never-ending legs and flawless hair and make-up, but don’t think it was the right thing to wear for the occasion. Put her and that dress in a fashion glossy editorial page on the other hand…
Read MoreKendall Jenner gets pally with Anna Wintour – what does this mean?
While her older half sister Kim Kardashian is in the Big Apple promoting Dash, Kendall Jenner is right here in London – getting chummy with none other than American Vogue editor in chief Anna Wintour. Kendall and Anna were spotted next to each other on the Topshop Unique front row during London Fashion Week (they reportedly talked about Newcastle of all subjects…) – but what does their new friendship mean? Does it mean that Kendall might well be on her way to landing a coveted American Vogue front cover – a Kardashian/Jenner family first? Or does it mean that Ms Wintour is exchanging pleasantries with the entire “klan” now that Kim Kardashian is rumoured to have landed the coveted American Vogue US cover? Or is it just a massive coincidence? We’ll let you be the judge! But either way, we think Kendall is well on her way to being the most fashionable Kardashian/Jenner girl; she walked the Marc Jacobs runway in New York and also made an appearance on the Giles catwalk right here in London. Vogue cover or no Vogue cover, we predict big things for Kendall Jenner, so watch this space! [Image]

Kendall and Kylie Jenner are used to getting press attention for both good and not-so-good reasons (sometimes through their Kardashian/Jenner family association alone!) but we think them being named in Time‘s 25 Most Influential Teens list might just be the most controversial and headline-grabbing thing to date. “We are so honoured to be included on the Time magazine list of Most Influential Teens,” the sisters reportedly told E! News. “There are incredible teens on this list and we are so proud to be in their company.” And speaking of incredible teens, Malala Yousafzai (who became the youngest person to receive the Nobel Peace Prize for all her hard work promoting women’s education), Sasha and Malia Obama, Chloe Moretz, Tavi Gevinson, Jaden Smith, and Lorde are just a few of them who are keeping K and K company on the list. Calvin Klein have enlisted The Kardashian-Jenner sisters for theirlatest ads. Inspired by an Americana theme and shot by Willy Vanderperre, the #MyCalvins Our Family campaign features Kim, Kourtney, Khloe, Kendall and Kylie wearing iconic pieces from the brands denim and underwear line. Speaking about the shoot Kim said, “Family is everything, so when we’re all together doing something special like this, it means so much,” adding “we were all in a group text before saying how lucky we are to do this together and that it’s going to be the best day”. Speculation is rife as to when the pics were actually taken. With Kylie covered in the pictures, naturally rumours of her pregnancy are being fueled further. Khloe, (whom has confirmed her bun in the oven) was definitely in the early stages of her pregnancy during the shooting of the campaign and she shared her thoughts on working with her sisters, “The bond we share is infectious. Even though we pick on each other like normal siblings, we are each other’s biggest supporters …..I want people to see unity, loyalty and strength. We’re a mix of everything, and I think family is the ultimate American dream.”

Kylie Jenner clearly doesn’t want her older sister Kendall to hog the limelight with all her catwalk outings. Kylie wants some of the public’s attention too, which is why she will be launching her very own range of hair extensions with Bellami Hair entitled, wait for it, Kylie Hair Kouture. We like it – and certainly distracts people from her lips which are taking the internet by storm! Bellami Hair is totally affordable which means Kylie Jenner fans of all ages and with all bank account sizes will be able to get their hands on the range. Bellami already stocks quite a few hair extensions though, so we’re hoping to see something totally different and unique in there for Kylie’s range. We’re hoping to see some bold colours such as the blue hue she was rocking a few months ago, among many others. We’ll keep you posted with more info as soon as we get it. [Daily Mail]

From past icons to current trailblazers who are setting the trends right now, here’s a comprehensive deep dive into the best fashion designers without whom the fashion industry just wouldn’t be the same. 1. Her designs stood out from the crowd, effortless and refined. She transformed fabrics that were traditionally associated with men’s clothing, like tweed and jersey, into chic, comfy pieces for women. Read MoreThe Rise of the Small Handbag
Far from the concept of ‘less is more’, the ’00s saw handbags that were big enough to fit everything including the kitchen sink. However, over the last couple of years, handbags have been shrinking and the micro bag trend has well and truly taken off. Here are some of the reasons why the small handbag has overtaken oversized bags in popularity. Essentials Only When big handbags were trendy, there was no need to whittle down what you wanted to take out with you. In fact, you could pretty much pack everything in that you’d possibly ever need…that isn’t necessarily a good thing. An overcrowded bag often means more time spent rummaging for what you actually need, leading to embarrassment in shops when you can find everything but your purse. A big bag also means it’s heavier to carry around with you all day, leading to shoulder pain or arm ache. Having a bigger bag also means you’re much more likely to end up carrying other people’s stuff – whether it’s your partner’s wallet, your kid’s toy or your friend’s sunglasses, your handbag will soon become the dumping ground for anything that anyone else doesn’t want to carry. The rise of the micro bag, on the other hand, means you have to be ruthless about what you pack. In most cases, mini handbags will only fit the bare necessities, such as your card, phone, keys and lipstick at the absolute most. This means you’ll always be able to find what you need and you’re not weighed down by unnecessary baggage. It also makes it easy to say “no” when someone asks if they can pop something in it! Loved by Celebrities Small handbags are much-loved by celebs from Rihanna to Dua Lipa. The micro bag is having a big moment in […]

As the winter chill grows stronger, an adjustment to our wardrobes is essential. A little extra care to styling your outfits is much needed to avoid looking like Michelin Man or a marshmallow when you start layering your clothes. Read MoreGoing Braless: 2016’s Biggest Feminist Fashion Statement?
Why do you wear a bra? For comfort? To cover up? Because wearing beautiful lingerie makes you feel good about yourself? Or is it simply a habit you fell into after being whisked off to the shops to buy one the day your breasts started to show? Figuring out why we wear them and how they fit into feminism is the centre of several complicated debates. And although we’ve been talking about the purpose and significance of bras for decades, we’re still no closer to finding an answer. Burning Bras and Beauty Standards Like the best of partnerships, feminists have had some major fallings out with bras, the most infamous of which came in 1960 with protesters (now debated) publicly burning their bras. What started as a rally against the oppressive beauty standards of the Miss America pageant, became the defining image of the Women’s Liberation Movement, and one that isn’t often taken seriously. Even today, mention feminism and many people will immediately revert to clichés about angry activists and burning bras. The Pencil Test From that iconic moment in 1960, arguments about bras continued to make waves. In 1970 came the concept of the pencil test, posited as the definitive method of determining whether you needed to wear a bra. Basically, you placed a pencil under your breast and if it remained in place then it was off to the lingerie department for you. A test that’s now been turned into a viral social media trend, then reinforced one of the standards feminists had been working so hard to defeat. The sexualisation of the female form, too distracting to be on display, meant that breasts – and particularly large breasts – were to be contained and restrained. The Sexualisation of Big Boobs It’s a theory that still holds sway […]

Anyone else disappointed with the red carpet at this year’s Met Gala? We’re not sure if we just had really high expectations but we can’t say we were floored by any of the outfits. Celebrating the start of the exhibition which runs from 7th May to 16th August, and showcases the work of 40 designers inspired by Chinese culture and art, the theme was China: Through the Looking Glass. In theory, with the prospect of East meeting West, this should have been a great opportunity for the celebs to go all out with the fun and drama. But, sadly no. The majority played it safe or nude. As we’ve seen in previous years, there’s a fine line between fashion forward and tacky, and this year while their bodies were to die for, Beyoncé and JLo pretty much pushed the sheer envelope way beyond the line. Kim K on the other hand managed to get it just right in Peter Dundas’ first creation for Roberto Cavalli while Rihanna was effortlessly on theme in a stunning handmade gown (which took 2 years to make) by Guo Pei. At this point, we’d like to draw your attention to someone who in our opinion is a major style icon in the making – Zendaya. The young starlet was absolutely flawless in Fausto Puglisi and we predict big things to come from the gorgeous actress and singer. On that note, here’s our 10 best dressed Xin Lei in Alexander McQueenRosie Huntington-Whiteley in VersaceRihanna in Guo Pei Poppy Delevingne in Marchesa Kim Kardashian in Roberto Cavalli Kendall Jenner in Calvin Klein Kate Hudson in Michael Kors Karolina Kurkova in custom Tommy Hilfiger Jessica Hart in Valentino Zendaya in Fausto Puglisi

Feminism is without a doubt, the word of the month. First we had Emma Watson’s moving UN speech where she announced the launch of her HeForShe initiative, and now Karl Lagerfeld presents an equal rights protest for the Chanel spring/summer 2015 collection for Paris Fashion Week. Some of the hottest and most in-demand models such as Cara Delevingne, Kendall Jenner, Gisele Bundchen, Joan Smalls and Georgia May Jagger, among many others, joined the Chanel Revolution and held up signs with powerful messages on the catwalk – all while dressed in the finest and newest Chanel attire, of course! Elsewhere in Paris, Valentino presented a typically beautiful collection which was inspired by Italy through the eyes of a traveller. Meanwhile, Alexander McQueen’s Sarah Burton was influenced by all things Japanese for her latest catwalk outing, sending her models out in erotic and exotic garments with sharp shoulders, bold hand-cut floral detailing, and more oversized floral print than you can shake a stick at. And finally, Louis Vuitton ended Fashion Month with a stunning show presented by Nicolas Ghesquière, with the soundtrack from Close Encounters of the Third Kind playing as the lucky guests took their seats. We saw an abundance of lust-worthy leather goods and accessories – no surprises there – make their debut, and although Nicolas Ghesquière took a lot of risks by introducing new ideas, the aesthetic of the iconic French fashion House remained the same. Check out all of our highlights from the latest Paris Fashion Week shenanigans right here: Chanel Louis Vuitton Alexander McQueen Valentino

George Clooney’s wedding wasn’t the only exciting thing that happened at the weekend. Paris Fashion Week continued to give us brand spanking new spring/summer 2015 collections from some of the biggest fashion designers in the world, and as usual, we saw some ground-breaking and memorable stuff. The Jean Paul Gaultier spring/summer 2015 show was an emotional one, as the designer showcased his last ever ready-to-wear collection. (He’ll be focusing all his attention on Couture from now on- click here for more deets.) So, it was only right that he went out with a bang, and that’s exactly what he did. JPG paid homage to all the industry figures who have shaped his impressive career; Grace Coddington, Franca Sozzani, Suzy Menkes, Carine Roitfeld, Emmanuelle Alt all ‘featured’ on the runway, making the show a truly unforgettable one just the way JPG intended. Elsewhere in Paris, Riccardo Tisci presented a great, mostly monochromatic collection for Givenchy (with the Kim Kardashian and little North West obviously sitting pretty on the front row to support an eyebrow-less Kendall Jenner), while Phoebe Philo was clearly inspired by the one and only Kate Bush (who is currently touring right here in Britain) for her latest Celine collection. Check out all of our highlights below: Jean Paul Gaultier Givenchy Celine

It’s all been hotting up in Paris these past 24 hours, with brand spanking new spring/summer 2015 collections from the likes of Lanvin, Roland Mouret, Nina Ricci and Balmain being the reasons why. Alber Elbaz celebrated Lanvin’s 125th anniversary with an outstanding collection that paid homage to the French fashion House’s history but stayed in tune with the modern woman at the same time too. If anyone can do it, Alber Elbaz can! The Balmain show might just be one of the most star-studded ones we’ve seen so far thanks to its mixture of A-list FROWers and catwalk models. Karlie Kloss, Jourdan Dunn, Rosie Huntington Whiteley, Joan Smalls and Kendall Jenner were just a few of the famous model faces strutting their stuff in Olivier Rousteing’s designs, while the likes of Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner and Kanye West all sat pretty on the front row to take in the new season pieces with an unrestricted view. And speaking of those new season pieces – it was all about the laser cut, check print, summer brights, and skin. Lots of skin was on show thanks to the bralets, sexy short-hemmed dresses, cut-out detailing and low necklines. Roland Mouret’s latest outing was just as sharp and en-vogue as ever; the perfect wardrobe for the professional woman on a tropical getaway. Asymmetric silhouettes, bright colourways, sharp collars – everything we love about Roland Mouret with a chic but relaxed twist. The young celebs will be all over this collection for their red carpet premiere outings, you mark our words. Here are the rest of our Paris Fashion Week highlights: Balmain Roland Mouret Lanvin Nina Ricci
Read MoreMilan Fashion Week SS15 highlights from Dolce and Gabbana, Emilio Pucci, Giorgio Armani and more!
Jeremy Scott definitely got Milan Fashion Week off to a flying start thanks to his Barbie inspired collection for Moschino, but that isn’t the only collection that has blown us away in Italy. The past few days have seen some of the biggest and memorable shows take place, with the likes of Dolce and Gabbana, Emilio Pucci, Roberto Cavalli and Giorgio Armani proving particularly powerful. Although Dolce and Gabbana has been as Sicilian as it gets the past few seasons, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana took their inspiration from Spain for the spring/summer 2015 collection. There was a definite matador theme running through the entire catwalk show, with red and black being the prominent colours throughout. Some of the biggest and most in-demand models could be found on the Emilio Pucci catwalk – from Naomi Campbell to Joan Smalls and Kendall Jenner – they were all there strutting their stuff in Peter Dundas’s floaty explosion-of-colour creations. Tie dye is back, people! Take a look at the rest of our highlights from Milan Fashion Week below and let us know what your favourite pieces are: Emilio Pucci Dolce and Gabbana Giorgio Armani Roberto Cavalli
Read MoreSibling rivalry: Which Kardashian deserves to land an American Vogue cover?
“To be in Vogue has to mean something,” stated Anna Wintour, and, well, she’s speaking the biblical truth. Campaigning for this prestigious right are two siblings from the world’s most talked about family/klan, depending on how you prefer to address them. Kim Kardashian – the queen of Céline separates and Tom Ford pieces so tight, they create curves ever she didn’t know existed– has kept the fashion set (and herself) guessing whether the coveted prize of cover girl shall be hers (let’s not forget, she’s already been L’uomo-d). From a lobbying partner, whom eventually got his beau to make an unforgettable entrance at the 2013 MET Gala – an event she had previously been banned from by Her Majesty Anna Wintour – to befriending Carine Roitfeld and scoring couture pieces (and front row seats) in Paris, earlier this year; Kim isn’t playing games, she’s ruddy serious. But then again, so is her twee-faced, doe-eyed, long-limbed sibling, Kendall Jenner. The upcoming model has been scoring some fashion hot seats of late. From a nipple-on-show performance at the Marc Jacobs autumn/winter 2014 show to walking for Giles in the Big Smoke, sitting shoulder-to-shoulder with Anna Wintour at the Topshop Unique show and posing for a certified selfie with Delevingne and gang backstage; junior Jenner’s sure as hell making her mark in notable fashion circles. And, all sans sexual controversies, slip-ups and stunts. So, who will be victorious in the race to win Wintour’s (steely) heart, and be the first to grace the glossy covers of the world’s most highly regarded fashion tome? Below, our strongest arguments for putting either sibling on the cover of American Vogue- or both, if Wintour’s feeling generous… Why Kim Kardashian? Luxury-appreciation factor: Kim sure knows the wow factor value of pairing the luxurious, most expensive of wardrobe pieces together […]
Read MoreWATCH: LFW AW14 highlights from Temperley London, Mary Katrantzou & more
MARY KATRANTZOU AW14 COLLECTION She may have been dubbed the digital print queen by way of her hypnotising design USP of seasons past, but Mary Katrantzou took a refreshing detour this season. Dizzying print work was replaced by symbols that held a deeper meaning; school badges, medals, clock faces, a coat of arms all made an appearance, intricately embroidered onto fuzzy sweatshirts, patchworked onto maxi skirts and running down pleated gowns to resemble a holy vestment. Suits cut in jacquard are set to become the fashion set’s new favourites, and one in particular – a bird-print skirt suit with pleated gym-skirt – demanded attention. Delicate slips dresses with hook straps featured a metal mesh adorned with gold-tone hearts, squares and pearls, tricking onlookers into believing they were admiring an art installation. Well, we were certainly in awe. TEMPERLEY LONDON AW14 COLLECTION Temperley London may hail from the leafy enclaves of Somerset, but, designer Alice Temperley didn’t stick to the quiet side for autumn/winter ’14. Bringing her signature decorative style to the table, Byzantine architecture-inspired prints were splashed across unbuttoned coats, tightly belted at the waist. Pretty skirt suits were updated with a boxier silhouette, while stained glass-imitating laser prints prettily played out across red carpet worthy dresses. New for this season, however, was the concept of layering luxe evening looks: an oversize fur stole in a fluffy peach hue was breathtaking over a shawl and barely there gown; while neck scarves, outerwear and shawls daubed in striking floral prints were the accessory du jour to seek protection from the winter chill. Just perfect. RICHARD NICOLL AW14 COLLECTION As blue emerges to be the hue of the hour for next season, Richard Nicoll didn’t hold back in feeding our appetite for the coldest shade-gone-hot. School girl attire-gone-haute was the message here, […]
Read MoreThe selfie-centred nation: Snap happy or plain crazy?
Hello, and welcome to the millionth conversation about turning the camera on yourself. The selfie really exploded this week, legitimising its existence by snapping up a place in the Beverly Hills equivalent for words, Oxford Dictionaries Online. Every person (and their shoe-clad pug) has discussed and dissected the art, and how to perfect it. (Thanks, Stylist magazine) OK, so we’re not going to tutor you on how to take one – unless you’ve been living in Transnistria, without your smartphone, and subsequently don’t understand the science behind applying filters, perfecting angles and getting the ideal ‘hotdog’ leg shot. But, instead, what we want to talk about is, whether, the suggestion for a “digital detox” is at all valid when we’re being bombarded with these addictive titbits into everyone’s lives. Instagram can be called upon as the main culprit for spearheading our obsession that little bit further, but Twitter, Tumblr, Facebook and endless Pinterest repins of pretty blogger/fashion bod figures are equally to blame. We’re not slating the selfie; it’s a satisfying feeling like no other, when you land a flattering, sun soaked shot that makes your body resemble Kendall Jenner’s (thanks, Earlybird and Sutro (Google them)). But more and more experts are telling us to “switch off”, “tune out” and effectively, take a technological self-cleanse, or a “digital detox” to stop our frazzled brains from burning out, and recovering some of that smartphone-free time we once cherished. Remember? Funny, though, the mixed messages we get about social media. Turn to print magazines and they tease you with snippets of information which lure you back to “tuning in.” Case in point: Voguestagrams. The fashion tome asked readers to post pictures of them with the hefty September issue, using #voguestagram. Aren’t we supposed to be losing ourselves in the magazine, instead of […]

Going up Punk fever: The punk revival was well and truly felt at this year’s Met Ball, with added thanks to Miley Cyrus’s outlandish barnet and Madonna’s flesh flashing shenanigans. But will it last? We hope the magical era is here to stay for good, so we can break fashion rules and paint our (not so flat) stomachs with anti-gun slogans. Check out our Punk inspo moodboard for your fix. Gatsby fever: Taking a detour from crazy hair and garish outfits, the other era the fashion world is currently dabbling in is the Roaring Twenties. With Baz Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby set for release next week in the UK, expect a rise in opulent hair accessories, art deco prints and more flapper dresses you can shake a jazz dance move at! Shop our top Gatsby-inspired pieces here. Festival kick off: Although the major headliners are taking place smack bang in the middle of summer, several niche festivals are taking place this month, which can only mean one thing; getting your festival wardrobe into gear. Check out our top 10 picks here. Embellished tees: Luxe tees have been gaining momentum amongst the fash pack for some time now, so when we laid our peepers on the embellished 3.1 Phillip Lim Nueva York tee , we were sold at hello. The new low sandal: Or, dubbed the ‘Elvis’ sandal, thanks to the rhinestone detail; embrace summer’s new take on the gladiator sandal but with a flattering (read: pain-free) heel. Look to Isabel Marant for a high end hit, or Zara and Mango do equally stylish, pocket-friendly versions. Going down Glove sleeves: Come on, Kim! What were you thinking? Dressing to flatter your bump, we understand, is priority, but hand concealing doesn’t really come in to it. Enough said. Winter coats in spring: After experiencing […]

Read MoreNew York Fashion Week SS15 highlights from Tommy Hilfiger, Donna Karan, Carolina Herrera and more!
Yet more designers debuted their spring/summer 2015 collections on the New York Fashion Week catwalks yesterday, and as usual, we saw a lot of interesting things before our eyes. Tommy Hilfiger saw the return of Kendall Jenner (who we also saw on the DVF catwalk a few days ago) as well as a modern nod to one of our favourite decades: the sixties! As well as her own interpretation of that Pharrell Williams hat (made by Stephen Jones, may we say) Donna Karan also showcased plenty of versatile pieces, including stunning separates, new silhouettes, and more print than you can shake a stick at. And last but not least, Carolina Herrera went totally modern on us as she debuted a collection full of bold digital prints that were, in a word, breathtaking. Take a look at all of our highlights from New York Fashion Week below; do you have any favourite looks? Tommy Hilfiger Carolina Herrera Zac Posen Donna Karan

Read MoreKim Kardashian sizzles in Saint Laurent for Kardashian Christmas card
You don’t have to be on the Christmas card list to take a peek at the Kardashian klan’s holiday card. Most of the Kardashians can be seen posing for David LaChapelle for their annual Christmas card, and this year, despite their being a noticeable absence of some regular faces (no brother Rob, or any of Kim, Kourtney or Khloe’s other halves or little North West), the card looks busier than ever! The first thing we noticed (well, two things) were Kim Kardashian’s breasts squeezed into a Saint Laurent Paris dress with a sexy high split. Who knew the holiday season could be so raunchy? Kendall and Kylie Jenner showcase their modelling credentials as they pull their fiercest poses for the occasion, while Kourtney’s children Mason and Penelope bring the cute factor to the proceedings. The Christmas card also delves into the Kardashian archives as old pictures of the family can be seen scattered around throughout the card. Do you like the Kardashian Khristmas 2013 card or did you prefer the simple all-white card they sent out last year? [Gossip Cop]
