The organisers at Londonedge and Londoncentral have announced the launch of a landmark New York show in July 2007.

Managing director Carole Hunter said:

“L.E.N.Y. Londonedge New York is the result of strong interest from exhibitors and buyers in America in recent years. Unfortunately, some of the smaller US exhibitors and buyers have been unable to travel to the UK and we hope to satisfy their interest with this exhibition.

“It’s not surprising that the concept has been well-received stateside, given the strength of the alternative market over there. The response has been phenomenal with 85% of the initial sq ft already earmarked by exhibitors. We are all extremely excited about this new venture and the buzz over there is growing rapidly.

L.E.N.Y. will be held in New York’s stunning Show Piers, which extend into the Hudson River. The exhibition will occupy one of three glass-enclosed piers with dramatic views of the New York skyline. Visit www.showpiers.com to see more.

Hunter continued:

“We are currently planning to allow for 20,000 square feet and stands will start at 60 square feet upwards. We are in the process of employing staff to build and run the show as well as launching a new marketing campaign in the US.

“This is a huge venture for us that is looking extremely positive in its early stages.

For those who have yet to trade in the US, organisers will be putting together a dossier for exhibitors on business dealings and a seminar on the subject is also planned. For more information please contact the organisers.

L.E.N.Y. will take place from 18th-20th July 2007 at Show Piers, New York, USA.

The next season of Londonedge and Londoncentral takes place at Olympia 2 from 4th-6th February 2007. For further info contact +44 (0) 1162 898 249 or info@londonedge.com
