With Bambi-like eyes being all the rage, we’ve been going to great lengths (literally) to extend, thicken, and curl our lashes. Eyelash extensions, fake glue-ons, and even eyelash perms have become popular as of late. If you’re like me, you love fake lashes when you’re looking to go glam on a special occasion, but for everyday, you probably like something a bit more subtle.

For years I’ve sampled the latest products to hit the market (with Great Lash as a constant in my make-up bag), but none really hit the mark and delivered what they promised.

Given the positive buzz surrounding the new Prescriptives False Eyelashes Plush Mascara, I was really excited when I received a sample of the product and tested it out right away. The full and tapered shape of the brush lifted and separated lashes beautifully. The application was extremely smooth and there really was a difference in the density and length of my lashes.

The light conditioning formula left a healthy, almost waxy, sheen instead of that cakey, crumbly look, giving it a noticeable, yet natural appearance. Even though my old pink and green favorite is just a fraction of the price and will always be a great go-to product, this Plush Mascara is definitely worth the investment and has earned itself a secure place in my make-up bag. Available at Prescriptives.com for $19.50.
