One of my favourite things about fashion would be the contrasts (and I am NOT referring to hipster irony, which is frankly annoying and deserving of an entire other post!); pair a pretty, flirty white summer dress like this one from Juicy Couture with a pair of beat-up Chuck Taylors and you’ve got the makings of a great outfit, in my mind. This tendency meant I was absolutely delighted to discover Locher’s via a friend.
Locher’s features the daintiest of tops with ultra-feminine detailing … and phrases in French or English that are anything but ladylike (you’ll have to click through for yourself to find out!). There is also have a line of brooches and necklaces that bring to mind Victorian lockets and cameos, but again have a naughty edge.
Some phrases are simply too bold for me to wear, but there are choices enough for the most demure and the most daring to be satisfied. Many designs are currently sold out, but the Spring 2008 collection will debut in a few weeks. Check back frequently for updates as the most popular designs are guaranteed to sell out quickly!
