It’s another fashion fairytale; gorgeous girl gets scooped up off the street and suddenly finds herself as part of a two-season runway exclusive with a main designer and the face of his new campaign. In this case the gorgeous girl is Toni Garrn of Hamburg and the main designer is Calvin Klein.
Garrn had no modelling aspirations prior to her impromptu scouting encounter; on the contrary, she is currently in school and lives at home with her parents. Yet despite her nonchalance about this new chapter in her life, her casual attitude belies the success she’s already had (in addition to the whole CK runway thing).
She has been photographed by Mario Testino and Mario Sorrenti, not to mention Steven Meisel and has appeared in Glamour, Italian Vogue, French Vogue, as well as Elle and Italian Elle.
Looking at photographs of her, it’s easy to see how she has the potential to follow in the footsteps of Natalia Vodianova and Kate Moss; of course she’s beautiful, but she has a charisma that comes through in her photographs. All in all, we can look forward to great things from Miss Garrn.
