I know there have been a lot of posts about Gossip Girl in the past few months, with most of the focus being on Blair (Leighton Meester ) and Serena’s (Blake Lively) fashion style, but what about the stylish Jenny (Taylor Momsen)? Surely she also deserves some fashion cred?

Personally, she is my favourite star of the show and I don’t think enough attention is paid to her ever-increasing fabulous wardrobe. Despite the fact that Jenny is only 14-years old (no, really), she still manages to carry looks that even I drool over every week.

The way she turns even a drab school uniform into a style statement, makes me wish I were back at school. Brightly coloured tights, knee-high socks and cute bobble hats teamed with fantastic statement handbags complete the pretty picture. Even her off-duty outfits are right off the fashion pages of Elle and Vogue magazine – Michael Kors trenchcoats and Marc Jacobs jumpers are worn with funky Betsey Johnson shoes.

I highly doubt that a 14-year old girl could actually afford to dress. I mean, she’s meant to be from the slightly poorer side of town but still manages to look like she’s stepped straight off the runway.

If Jenny’s wardrobe can improve to such an extent in just 10 episodes, then who knows what she will be wearing by the end of season one , Versace and Chanel, perhaps? Stay tuned to Gossip Girl for more fashion inspiration.
