“People feel like, just because you like to dress well … that don’t mean you’re gay! I don’t know where that came from! My thing is the 1930s. You had rough guys who played football, but they were impeccably dressed. So now, if a guy wants to wash his face, they call him a metrosexual or whatever. So my thing is, cut all that out. You know? It’s clothes!” – Andre Benjamin in The New York Observer

  1. He is so adorable!, i love the contrasting yellow and blue..he definitely speaks the truth, a well dressed man often has his sexuality questioned, especially a black one and on the flip side if he was dressed like a common riff raff in a white tee..he would be reprimanded as unserious..its a catch-22 really..

  2. great blog yeah !! i am lovin it dude !!

  3. i thought i was the only one who was feeling that way, why cnt a man be impeccably dressed without ppl thinking he’s Gay! thas so unfair and ridiculous… i love benjamin’s new line it’s got this ecletic thing just like his personal style.
