With not a trouser in sight, Lela Rose was an orgasmic explosion of colour and romance. The collection began with tweed skirts paired with ribbed cashmere sleeved tops and finished with sleeveless cropped jackets cinched at the waist. Now, I’m not a fan of tweed at the best of times but I must admit the overall look was gorgeous and well styled. This was followed with shift dresses which gave a 60’s feel to the collection and silk (beautiful!) knee length dresses with exaggerated collars and strapless fitted dresses in fuchsia, olive green and purple. The collection ended with Oscar worthy, magenta and ivory one shouldered and strapless chiffon gowns which were pretty, pretty pretty! A solid collection with something for everyone.
