A couple of days ago we reported that Narciso Rodriguez was rumoured to be collaborating with the world’s largest online marketplace Ebay, to create a lower priced capsule collection and we are now happy to reveal that the whispers were true!

Rodruguez confirmed yesterday – just in time for his New York Fashion Week show – that his new collection will be available for sale on Ebay from Spring 2010 and will include eight different styles: three dresses, two tops, a skirt, a jacket and a trench coat and will be on sale at fixed prices ranging from $60 to $350. Not bad considering the price tags we’d usually find on a Rodriguez item!

Rodriguez is also excited about his latest venture which will give him wider recognition worldwide as well as giving more women the chance to access his designs. He stated:

‘For me it’s always been about dressing many women of all ages, all types, all sizes and this special collection on Ebay is a unique opportunity to reach a broad, global audience. I’m as excited about my Ebay collection as I am about the one that will be coming down the runway this fall.’

We’re going to take that last statement quite literally after catching sight of this pic from The Cut on Twitter, who snapped this at the Narciso Rodriguez show yesterday!
