How To Spend It party
As the Financial Times’ luxury lifestyle magazine How To Spend It turns 15, we were invited down to join in with its birthday celebrations at the annual Financial Times How To Spend It party earlier in the week.

As we walked into Il Bottaccio along the grand Grosvenor place, we knew we were in for an extravagant night. Oohing and ahhing over the gorgeous gold-edged decor that graced the ceilings, we joined style-savvy journalists, advertisers and other fashionable folk in raising a toast (with none other than the finest Bollinger La Grand Annee Champagne) to the Financial Times, and, of course, How To Spend It.

But this year doesn’t just celebrate another year of luxury in this magazine’s life, because this time around, we were also lauding the launch of its website. Yes, the luxury lifestyle glossy has gone digital; and to great success, might we add.

Sleek and sophisticated, smooth and sexy , and that’s before we even viewed the menu. Userbility is a delight, as is the design, making the whole thing feel elegant and exclusive. Of course, the fashion section is our favourite (call us biased), with its gorgeous gift guide, desirable acquirables and luxe fashion shoots.

Making the move from print to screen is never easy, but How To Spend It couldn’t have made it appear more so.
