As the world sat glued to the screens Sunday evening waiting to scrutinize the stars’ style choices at the Golden Globes, there was one starlet who slipped through fashion’s finger: Ashley Olsen.
The actress-turned-designer (and one half of the trendiest twins in town) wore a bold blue dress from none other than British designer Erdem’s spring 2010 collection , a pleasant surprise, we imagine, if ever there was one.
“I’m so excited that she wore it, Erdem told Vogue UK. “It really suited her.
Surprising still is that not many have mentioned Ms. Olsen’s choice of wears , that ruffled petal detailing, bold silhouette and stand-out shade make it a winner in our books.
Meanwhile Ashley, along with her equally-stylish sister Mary-Kate, has confirmed that her high-end label The Row will show during New York Fashion Week this season for the first time, staging a presentation.
Since The Row’s collections are made in the US, it seems to follow suit that the pair have opted to make their Fashion Week debut in the capital. “[We are] happy to have our first presentation in New York, Ashley told WWD.
Eagerly. Awaiting.
