When Peaches Geldof was given the boot from Miss Ultimo this week, we didn’t think it’d take long before whispers as to who would be a likely replacement began to spread – and spread they have, for it seems the whole fiasco is hotting up.

Rumour has it model of the moment Georgia May Jagger may just be the favourite to take over from Peaches as the face and body of Miss Ultimo after the latter’s abrupt booting from the brand on Monday, following a drug-and-sex scandal.

As current face of Versace, Hudson Jeans and Rimmel London – not mention holding the title of Model of the Year – Georgia is quite the hot ticket on the fashion scene, and her slate, as it stands, is squeaky clean.

Reason enough, perhaps, for her to be the firm favourite to take on Miss Ultimo? According to the Mirror, she’s top of the list of replacements.
