It was only last week that we were telling you about Louis Vuitton’s latest campaign featuring Pele, Maradona and Zidane, and with the news that super stylish 10 magazine has launched their football fanatic issue it seems that the world of fashion has indeed caught football fever. Or as 10 mag say, ‘If you can’t beat them, join them.’

And there’s really only one way that a men’s fashion quarterly can ‘join them’ as it were, and that’s with indispensable style advice for what to wear on the pitch. As well as an authentically muddy looking bloke gracing the cover, 10 has created lots of handy fashion pages to help you look your best on the field – with the expert help of World Cup partners Adidas.

Editor in Chief, Sophia Neophitou-Apostolou admits that while she won’t be ditching her Alaia heels to join the lads on the pitch just yet she is a fan from the sidelines, especially when cheering on her son. ‘Football is as much a part of our culture as fashion – let’s bring the two worlds together.’

Let’s bring them together indeed, and make the most of this little window of opportunity. ‘Cause we’ve got a sneaking suspicion that when the World Cup is over they’ll both go back to their respective homes and the fash-pack can stop pretending that they actually care how to do ‘football fashion’…

10 men football fanatic issue is on sale now.
