With canapes served on encased pairs of jeans, denim hanging from gigantic white balloons, and a martini filled bar of denim, there’s only one way we can really describe last night’s very cool Denim Bar party hosted by My-Wardrobe – Denim Tastic.
With a DJ set from Tom Crane and CSY and a guest list that included editors from Esquire, Men’s Health and FHM – as well as top bloggers and the cool kids in fashion, the party was a very stylish bash indeed. We particularly liked the fact that the space was plunged in blue light for the duration of the evening (although it did have a certain ‘smurf’ effect on the skin tone) and loved the fun photo booth machine which the MFL team squeezed into for a snap with the very fabulous co-founder and CEO of my-wardrobe, Sarah Curran, pictured above.
There were, of course, a host of well dressed men in attendance, in particular GQ’s online editor Jamie Millar who we had a quick chat with. ‘It’s a great night, and the bar’s been designed by the same guy who designed Sketch so it’s really cool.’ Indeed, the Denim Bar was designed by the creative genius that is Mark Lawson-Bell.
So if you haven’t got yourself down to my-wardrobe’s pop up denim bar just yet then you’d better get your skates on as the two day event ends tomorrow. Join the experts from my-wardrobe on Carnaby street tomorrow (28th) and get the best denim advice from their buying team while you can.
