It’s official – and confirmed by the man himself – Giles Deacon is new creative director at Ungaro. His appointment comes after months of cahanges that the French fashion house which has seen the label’s ceo Mounir Moufarrige artistic adviser Lindsay Lohan and chief designer Estrela Archs all leave. Jean Paul Gaultier out at Hermes:
The rumours were true, Jean Paul Gaultier is indeed leaving his position as artistic director at luxury brand Hermes – but there are no hard feelings as Gaultier is bowing out in order to concentrate on his eponymous label, for which the Hermes brand is a shareholder.
