Lily Cole usually has no problem in pulling off even the trickiest of trends – with lengthy legs and stunning supermodel looks, no outfit is too daring.

However, one of the key elements needed in order to work this season’s brights is a tan, and whilst we normally love Lily Cole’s pale and interesting look, in this case she failed to impress at the Jameson Empire Awards in a canary yellow Prada mini. 

And her accessorising didn’t help, either. Pairing the dress with mismatching monochrome sandals and a hippy headband, only culminated in a very schizoprenic look for Lily.

But don’t throw the Prada away yet, girl – dust a bit of bronzer, remove the headband and swap the sandals for nude courts and that Prada dress will make you shine like the sun.

And as a personal favour, bring back the red hair, yeah? Better luck next time.
