On Saturday April 16th Mulberry‘s creative director, Emma Hill, and her fashionable team took to the glamorous Parker Hotel in Palm Springs, California, to host an exclusive Backyard BBQ poolside party at this year’s Coachella festival.
Guests were invited to view Mulberry’s autumn/winter 2011 collection at the exquisite Gene Autry House, whilst taking some well earned time out from the Coachella festivities by the Pool – talk about luxurious, eh?
The scene was a picturesque British wonderland in the heart of America, complete with toadstools, trees and other decorative elements from the brand’s autumn/winter catwalk show – not to mention an exclusive appearance from a huge gold inflatable Mulberry Bayswater bag!
And the food was pretty top notch too, with barbecue delights such as veggie or jumbo crab sweet corn sliders, tofu or chicken kabobs, mini fish tacos, French fries, fruit cups, salads and woodland-inspired berry mojitos on tap all day and night! The guests were also spoilt with the lyrical delights of Karlsson and Winnberg (of Miike Snow), and Andrew Bevan, Associate Editor at Teen Vogue – all acting as guest DJs for the prestigious event.
But no Mulberry party would be complete without a celeb-filled guest list, and with the likes of Nicole Richie, Camilla Belle, Alexa Chung, Olivia Palermo, Harley Viera Newton, Eliza Doolittle, Marina Diamandis, The Hurts, Amber Le Bon and Rosie Huntington-Whitely all making an appearance – the party was without a doubt one of the stylish festival shing-digs around.
