If you’re out and about in London this summer, we suggest you stop by the Queen of Hoxton in the heart of Shoreditch for a beer and a burger on its brand new (and frankly brilliant) rooftop.
With a panoramic view of the city, the Queen’s rooftop terrace has been refurbished to reveal a part Victorian garden, part urban retreat playground, perfect for the summer months a-coming with a burn-forever BBQ and rumshack serving sip-able Pimms and dangerously delicious cocktails.
And with palm trees, benches, bean bags, festoon lights and a house Ukelele band for a soundtrack, it’s bound to become East London’s favourite sun-filled hangout.
We popped along for it’s preview launch last week and are already planning our next visit, if only to sit by the water fountain, sup cider and watch the city workers walk below. Oh, and did we mention it has beach huts for toilets? We know.
The Queen of Hoxton’s rooftop relaunch is open now – find more about it here and we’ll see you in the sun soon.
