Just like James Brown’s Pappa, Mulberry‘s got a brand new bag (and we’ll level with you, it’s a little bit lovely).
At the risk of sounding terribly predictable, Mulberry’s latest bag family for pre-AW11 is guaranteed to leave more than a few lustful looks in its path, and we feel its only fair that you guys share our pain.
Meet the Taylor. She might be flaunting heritage shapes but she’s a modern missus, with elegant country details, a rich colour palette and seasonal accents to keep her contemporary.
She’s wonderfully lady-like, and luckily, comes in three sizes – satchel (ideal for everyday), oversized satchel (perfect for weekends and picnics) and mini satchel (great for evenings) – each as sumptuous as the other, with the option of matte leather or luxe Ostrich for touch-me finish.
She’s available in three colours, too – mole grey, deer brown or, our favourite, bright cabbage – and features signature gold zips and hardware, external pockets, buckles and cross-body straps for the kind of cool glamour every Mulberry girl loves.
But she’ll set you back, big time. At her smallest, she’s £525; at her largest, she’s £950.
The Mulberry Taylor is available at Mulberry now. Anyone want to lend us a grand?
