The Lanvin Resort 2012 collection was said to be inspired by Madame Grès, Elizabeth Taylor, and Princes Harry and William – a rather odd combination, but a truly exquisite collection of softly draped dresses, citrine, taupe and ivory jumpsuits, and marching tweed jackets all the same.

But it’s the label’s debut childrenswear line that’s no doubt the main talk of the town this morning.

The miniature clothes marked the label’s first foray into kids clothing, and featured 15 looks for girls aged four – ten that are even more adorable than we first imagined.

The itsy-bitsy line included a voluminous crimson number, a smart taffeta trench and a velvety pinafore in Prussian blue, reports Fashionologie.

Still no word on the price tags just yet, but we’ll find out in November when the collection finally lands.
