Heads up, Leo – Blake Lively looks lovely in a wedding dress.

Last night Ms Lively had a bit of film promoting to do in LA for Green Lantern, and what do you suppose she wore to the premiere? A Chanel Couture bridal gown, of course.

Let’s be honest, she looks pretty perfect in the spring 2009 Chanel Couture dress, which features heavy floral applique and and a sheer floor-length skirt, but we are wondering if it’s really necessary to wear a bridal gown on the red carpet.

Still, she looks so darn pretty we’re willing to overlook it. We love the messy side plait – is that blonde we see? – her just-enough-sparkle Lorraine Schwartz jewels, and the fact she actually does super-happy smiles.

Also, isn’t it refreshing to see a more subtle approach to her legs-or-boobs-but-usually-legs style?
