With more than 245,000 samples requested in one week, Christopher Bailey’s quest to make Burberry Body the brand’s most iconic fragrance looks to be quite the success. And to celebrate the scent’s launch today, we’ve got an exclusive sneak peek of the TV ad ahead of its October release.

All we’re saying is this: if you thought the still campaign was sexy, you’re in for a treat.

The film was shot in London by Mario Testino under the direction of Christopher Bailey, and shows Rosie Huntington-Whiteley wearing nothing but her belted gold silk trench, spritzing herself with the scent as she slowly unwraps her coat to the soundtrack of Rosé by The Feeling.

“We worked with Mario Testino on a beautiful multi-faceted and sensual campaign, expressing the different attitudes of the Burberry Body,” says Bailey. “The trench coat embodies the iconic qualities of the fragrance as well as the spirit and attitude of the Burberry girl.”

Anyone else getting a bit hot under the collar? It’s set to air on TV screens in October, but you can watch an exclusive preview below.

Also accompanying the perfume’s launch today is Burberry Nude, the first ever ready-to-wear collection to be created for a fragrance, which features three variations of the luxury label’s iconic gold trench.

As for the scent, Bailey calls it “sophisticated, delicate and modern” with “sensual notes of rose and iris combined with woody top notes” to create an “unmistakably British” iconic fragrance.
