The Hobo bag was huge this past season, literally as well as stylistically. It was the perfect accessory for festivals and the beach, and as Alexander Wang proves here with his latest Robyn design, it appears our love affair with the hobo isn’t over yet.

This butterscotch hobo bag hits the balance between edge and elegance, by mixing metallic corner trims with luxe textured leather. This, people, is a bag with attitude.

What I also love about it is the way in which the Wang has given the hobo a fresh makeover for the new season by way of colour. Mustard will add a kick to any ensemble you choose to rock for autumn/winter, whether it’s neutrals or minimalist navy.

But when it comes to the price tag, the way I see it is you’ve really got to love this mustard shade to pay £825 for it. For me? However much I love the hobo bag, this grain of mustard just doesn’t cut it.
