A little over two months after Victoria Beckham announced details of her diffusion line, Victoria by Victoria Beckham, and we’re finally able to see the full fruits of her fashion labour.

The sister label to her mainline collection is aimed at a younger, more fashion-forward audience who’d rather spend £350 on a cute dress and still have money to do basic stuff like eat than blow £2,000 on a piece from the first line (though we’re starting to challenge that thought after seeing her latest collection for spring 2012).

As promised, the pieces are looser, flirtier and feature playful touches like scalloped edges and fun cat prints – plus a case full of crayola colour, especially cutesy corals and cool blues.

The result is what Miu Miu is to Prada – classic, easy-to-wear shapes spiced with charm and lashings of character. And we predict it to be quite the hit among existing Beckham fans who can’t afford the mainline price tags, as well as girls looking for a whimsical splash in their luxury wears.

We love the cat print dresses (in every colour), as well as the drop-waisted scalloped shifts and other, more classic versions. There’s even a couple of cute pieces – like the long-sleeve drop-waist white dress and a canary smock – we reckon Alexa Chung would rock.
