Mrs Russell Brand left the latex she loves so much behind on this occasion and opted for a more timelessly classic look in the latest campaign shot by David LaChapelle for ghd’s new Scarlet collection.
The new range of styling tongs comes with limited edition red plated ghd stylers, a red satin heat-resistant roll bag, two sectioning clips and a protective plate guard. Sounds perfect for Christmas – you listening, Santa?
Though she may be channeling 1920s chic, in case you hadn’t noticed Katy’s portraying both the Evil Queen and a flapper-inspired Snow White in each campaign. Talk about versatile! The singer was so taken with her Evil Queen crop, in fact, that she revealed her desires to adopt the style herself.
“I used to have a black pixie cut when I was about 17-18-19 so I felt I was reliving that part of my life again,” she said. “It’s really cute. I’d probably wear this look again, but I probably wouldn’t do it for long.”
And although she loves experimenting with her image, the popstar says misses her natural blonde hair.
“I might like trying being a blonde – a long, hippie-esque blonde with black roots.”
Interesting… do you think it would be a good look?
