When Vera Wang designed three wedding dresses for Kim Kardashian to wear on her special day for free(!), we assume it was because she was under the impression she’d pocket in the long run.

The fashion designer, who is renowned for her stunning bridal collections, created two Kim-inspired dresses, which would appear in her slightly more affordable ‘White by Vera Wang for David’s Bridal’ range.

But will fans be flocking to buy the dresses now that the bride is separating from Kris Humphries after just 72 days of married life?

We imagine Vera may be just a little worried about the divorce affecting her sales, especially since she hadn’t planned on launching the collection until February next year – so, do you think she should move the release forward or take the two gowns out of her collection?

We’re not sure how much pulling power the dresses will have after they go on sale in three months when Kim and Kris will be divorced for longer than they were married.

Would you still buy a Kim-inspired dress or would you deem it unlucky? Let us know in the comments.
