We’ve all been on baby-bump watch since the day after the Royal Wedding, and even though the palace hinted Kate Middleton and Prince William want to wait a while before they present the world with the pitter patter of tiny feet, we never stopped anticipating the announcement.
Pregnancy rumours started flying when the Duchess reportedly refused to eat peanuts at an official engagement a few weeks ago, sending the press wild with speculation that she could have a royal bun in the oven.
“In Touch Exclusive: Kate Middleton Is Pregnant,” is the headline found on American magazine In Touch Weekly, and it claims to have it on good authority that the Duchess of Cambridge is supposedly with child.
While the palace hasn’t confirmed a pregnancy, they haven’t denied it either – instead, they’ve refused to comment on the matter altogether.
“We never confirm or deny these rumors,” a spokesperson for the palace said, but also pointed out that a US magazine would be unlikely to get the scoop before a British one.
