Fred Perry has decided to launch some select pieces from Amy Winehouse’s latest collection – the last one she fully designed before her tragic death earlier this year.
The pieces from the new collection continue to feature the argyle and gingham prints that have been a signature part of Amy’s former Fred Perry collections, as well as a unique, exclusive print comprised of Cadillacs, juke boxes and cats-eye sunglasses.
The new items all reference Amy’s love for the 50s era which is not only reflected in the designs themselves, but in the colour palette, which is mainly made up of pastel pinks and blues in addition to classic black.
The items will continue to raise money for The Amy Winehouse Foundation, which recently received £43,200 for the sale of the white dress Amy wore on the cover of her Back to Black album. Fred Perry revealed that it will also be making a ‘seasonal donation’ to the charity.
Amy’s new Fred Perry pieces are priced between £30 and £195 and are on sale now, but won’t be shipped until December 12th.
