The Vanity Fair 2012 ‘Hollywood issue’ is out – and once again, it hasn’t failed to live up to expectations. We weren’t sure if it could match up to last year’s offering which included the likes of Anne Hathaway, Mila Kunis, Olivia Wilde and Jennifer Lawrence among others, but it has definitely put up a good fight to say the least.

Where last year’s issue was bold, dramatic and had a very 1940s theatrical feel to it, this year the magazine has toned it down and opted for more muted, pastel colours instead.

Although we feel that last year’s issue pipped the current one to the post (just!) that’s not to say we aren’t completely in love with what the March 2012 issue has to offer.

Mario Testino exclusively shot all of the cover stars for the magazine, who from left to right are: Rooney Mara, Mia Wasikowska, Jennifer Lawrence, Jessica Chastain, Elizabeth Olsen, Adepero Oduye, Shailene Woodley, Paula Patton, Felicity Jones, Lily Collins, and Brit Marling.

And don’t they all look fabulous? Check out our gallery below to get a more detailed view of the entire cover. We can’t wait to get our hands on it, as we know it’s going to be dynamic inside and out!
