After creating breathtaking collection after breathtaking collection, we wouldn’t be surprised if Oscar de la Renta had simply run out of ideas.

Although the designer has no shortage of fabulous designs in his head, he is looking elsewhere for inspiration for his resort collection. Namely, at the fans.

“We like the idea of trying to collaborate with our fans,” Alex Bolen, CEO of the brand, said. “There are people who love our brand and have ideas about what would be beautiful.”

ODLR has created an online mood board, where fans can upload anything from paintings to quotes to objects, which will then apparently appear on a 27-inch screen in his office.
