Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge: future Queen of the country, current Queen of our hearts. We can’t fault this royal beauty, and we prefer to call her Kate.
Photographed here looking her ever polished and ridiculously beautiful self, as she accompanied Queen Elizabeth and Prince Phillip, Duke of Edinburgh on their Diamond Jubilee tour official kick off, with a royal visit to Leicester on Thursday.
We love how Kate has revived lady-like, regal elegance with a touch of…wait for it…the great old high street! Her teal ensemble is from renowned high street brand, LK Bennett, and is actually in the sale (a.k.a already sold out!).
Kate opted for the LK Bennett ‘Jude’ jacket, reduced from £295 to £145, and a ‘Davina’ dress, down to £60 from £195. Clearly clued up on the new season trends, her jacket boasted a pretty peplum, while the entire silhouette of her look (belted, cinched waist) gave in to the lady like trend.
Completing her look were a pair of black courts by Episode and a John Lock ‘Fairy Tale’ hat (how fit for a princess!). She opted for her signature make up look consisting of a healthy glow with strong kohled eyes and accessorised with stunning green amethyst Kiki McDonough earrings and a black clutch.
Kate’s arrival into the Royal family has definitely had a glamorous affect on everyone – even Queenie donned a hot pink outfit. Do we sniff a little sartorial rivalry going on?
